Baby Squirrel!
Squirrels, Fireplaces and Chimneys!
O My!
Some town homes, apartments, and homes I have visited lately have squirrels that have moved into the top cap of the chimney.
Some people will hear scratching noises sounding like they are coming from the fireplace. The sound of an animal on the chimney cap (made of metal) will often carry down the flue and be heard in the fire place. If you hear this activity more than a couple times call us and we can assess the situation. Squirrels will nest in the chimney, filling it nesting materials. This is obviously hazardous.
Squirrels have been discovered in fireplaces, too, and sometimes do not make it out alive.
We make sure the squirrels are out and install materials to keep them out. This way everyone is safe, squirrel free and scratch free!
What’s in your chimney?
What’s in your attic?
What’s in your crawl space?
We have a look and take care if it, creating reassurance and restoring serenity to your home.
Check out the squirrel baby...

Thank you for explaining that it's important to avoid a level three build up which can be dangerous. Recently, I moved into a new home and I don't know when the chimney was cleaned last. I'll have to look into chimney cleaning more.

I was reading your article and wondered if you had considered creating an ebook on this subject. Your writing would sell it fast. You have a lot of writing talent
